recipe creme caramel ala julia child:
to make the caramel
sugar - 1 cup
water just enough to cover the sugar
1. pour into a saucepan and let it bubble (5-10mins), coloring shld be brown. watch out then it doesnt burn.
2. pour into the mould to cool (at least an inch)
creme - what you need
1litre of low fat milk(full cream will make its smell even nicer)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
6 eggs
1. pour milk into a pan to cook and boiling and until a skin form, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the pan
2. break the eggs, remove the yolk into the mixing bowl. whisk until it become white.
to tamper - pour a drop into the egg mixture using a sieve. then another drop into the egg mixture, after that wll the milk into the mould of caramel.
note* heat up the oven at 350F for baking later (10mins).
3. put the mould in the plate of water (boiling water) into the oven for an hour.
4. once cooked, remove from oven, it should slightly move in the mould.
5. put into the fridge overnight.
6. to serve - to remove from the mould, grab a knife to run thru the side. and turn upside down on a serving plate.
