K went for her 2nd dose of the Hexa, 6-in-1 yesterday afternoon.
Brought her to the clinic downstairs, the GP, Dr Loh was the one who administer it.
Before the vaccination, he assessed K and see whether she has achieved the 4mth old milestone. However, K is not exactly 4mths yet ;-)
here is a list of things , K was tested on:
* tummy time
* head muscle
* let her grab rattle
* eyes & ears response
She is able to response to all except for 1 ..... she is unable to flip still.
anyway, after this assessment, Dr Loh gave her the injection. I as talking to her comforting her then she suddenly cried. I also darent look at the needle ! i am scared of needles/injections. But being K, she took in in her stride and stopped crying soon after ! i am so proud of my little K. hehehe...
Dr Loh told me to give her a dose of Parecetamol incase there is a fever.
When we got home, I changed her coz her bib was so wet from her drools...
She was ok still, playing and doing her own stuff, however, after 9+pm, she started crying. I wasnt too sure whether its because she is getting cranky coz its her bedtime or bcoz she is in pain. Then I realised I havent feed her a dose of the Parecetamol. Its says on the label for fever and pain :-(
But after she was given some, she stopped crying, fed her milk and she fell asleep.
She woke up at 6am crying. Guess she must have hungry, so Grandma fed her some milk and gave her some Paracetamol coz felt that she was getting slightly feverish.
I played with her after my bath before I head out for work! She was happily playing with Grandma after I left. Grandma showed her soem flashcards on ABC.
When I called later int he afternoon to check on her, she was asleep.... hmmmm....
Anyway, when i got home, Grandma said that K slept a lot in the afternoon and just woke up when we got home.
She is alrite now and back to her normal self once again ;-)
Thanks God for blessing her
